Allergy Testing
Allergy Testing with Novalab Corp
It is performed to determine if a specific substance is triggering an allergic response in the body. This can be done via a blood test or skin prick test at the office.
Blood allergy tests look for specific antibodies that are in your blood. To complete this test, we will simply draw a small amount of your blood and send it to the lab to look for allergy related antibodies.
The most common blood allergy test is enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, which measures the level of immunoglobulin E in your blood stream.
We have one of the largest automated immunoassay menus available.
One of our specialties is allergy testing.
